According to the person in charge, as of the end of 2018, Shanxi has identified a total of 90.77 tons of gold metal in the rock gold mine, with a total of 38.33 tons. There are currently 31 gold mining areas identified and 23 mining mines, with an annual output of about 2 tons. The amount of gold metal in the rock gold mine was 1.69 tons.
The newly discovered large-scale gold deposit is a porphyry gold deposit. It is the first time that this type of gold deposit has been discovered in Shanxi in recent decades.
