The ultra-high speed and ultra-low delay characteristics of 5G network will be used to completely solve the technical bottleneck of signal transmission in special complex environments of mines, it realizes the ultra-remote precision control of drilling, shovel and loading based on 5G network and the intelligent formation operation of pure electric mining trucks.
4. China released the first global mining development report
On October 10, 2019, at the 21st China International Mining Conference, the International Mining Research Center of the China Geological Survey of the Ministry of Natural Resources announced its establishment and released the "Global Mining Development Report 2019" on the spot.
The report is the first report released by China on the development trend of global mining industry. Based on massive data, the report comprehensively analyzes the development trend of global mining industry from 2018 to 2019 from the aspects of mining market, supply and demand pattern of mineral resources, development of mining companies, mining policy trends of major countries, and development of mining science and technology, and makes preliminary predictions on the future industry pattern.
According to the report, the status of mining in the global economic and social development is becoming more and more prominent. In order to accurately serve the transformation and development of China's mining industry and promote global mining cooperation and prosperity, the International Mining Research Center of the China Geological Survey organized the China Mining News, the Institute of Mineral Resources of the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, and the Development Research Center of the China Geological Survey to jointly compile and complete The "Global Mining Development Report 2019".
5. Super-large molybdenum-tungsten deposit discovered in Luanchuan, Henan Province
On December 23, 2019, good news came from the Henan Provincial Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources. After nearly 10 years of integrated exploration by the geological exploration team of Henan Province, a super-large molybdenum-tungsten deposit was discovered in Luanchuan Cold Water-Chatudian, Luoyang. The additional resources include 3.1704 million tons of molybdenum, 439600 tons of tungsten, 361600 tons of lead, 2.3629 million tons of zinc, 2.71 tons of copper and 391.82 tons of silver, which is equivalent to 39 large molybdenum mines, 14 large-tungsten mines and 5 large lead-zinc mines.
Up to now, Luanchuan, the "molybdenum capital of China", has submitted a total of 6.3117 million tons of molybdenum, 1.3828 million tons of tungsten, 991800 tons of lead, 3.3783 million tons of zinc, 1120.83 tons of silver and 82900 tons of copper.
6. Zijin Mining becomes Ivanhoe's second largest shareholder
On October 8, 2019, Zijin Mining announced that it would acquire the issued shares of Ivanhoe Mining from CITIC Metal and Robert Friedland (Chairman of Ivanhoe's Board of Directors) at a transaction price no lower than the latest increase price of CITIC Metal. The price is C $3.98 per share, with a total price of about C $0.194 billion, equivalent to a contract of 1 billion yuan.
