From January 11 to 12, the 2020 Green Mine Annual Meeting and the First Green Mine Outstanding Contribution Award Ceremony were held in Beijing. The 2019 national green mine site exchange meeting was held as scheduled, and the catalogue of advanced and applicable technologies for the conservation and comprehensive utilization of mineral resources (2019 Edition) was officially released, the newly selected 555 mines and 398 former national green mine pilot units, a total of 953 mines were included in the national green mine list, and breakthroughs have been made in the construction of green mines.
Wu Shaohui, chairman of the Zhongguancun Green Mine Industry Alliance, said in his speech that in the past year, green mines have entered the stage of comprehensive construction, and the alliance has achieved remarkable results. The green exploration committee established a leading standard for green exploration, guided the construction of dozens of green exploration demonstration bases, and helped the high-quality development of the industry. It is reported that the "Green Mine Scientific Progress Award" is approved by the National Award Office of the Ministry of Science and Technology and supported by the government for the first time to set up a new award specifically for the construction of green mines. It is aimed at 8 aspects of science and technology including oil and gas, coal, ferrous metals, and non-ferrous metals. Innovation achievements are selected and rewarded, it is divided into five categories: Green Mine Natural Science Award, Green Mine Science and Technology Progress Award, Green Mine Major Project Award, Green Mine Outstanding Contribution Award, and Green Mine Youth Science and Technology Award. The purpose is to support the construction and development of green mines and commend them in promoting green Advanced collectives and individuals who have made outstanding contributions in the process of mine construction. The Green Mine Outstanding Contribution Award and the Green Mine Youth Science and Technology Award selected this time are two major categories of awards, covering 23 provinces (cities, autonomous regions), covering prefectural and county natural resources bureaus, county governments, and institutions supporting the construction of green mines. At the meeting, the China Green Sand and Stone Industry Fund was officially launched. The Zhongguancun Green Mining Industry Alliance has signed strategic cooperation agreements with Jiangxi Copper Group Corporation, Kuancheng County Green Mine Office and Tangshan Shangfengrun District Government, aiming to achieve complementary advantages in talents and technology, and further promote the sustainable development of enterprises.
