02How to choose the mining tooth wheel drilling tool
The bit design must be adapted to the characteristics of the rock required to be drilled, with different design configurations for roller bits used for different types of rock.
The drill bit used for soft rock drilling usually adopts long exposed tooth height and sparse tooth distribution interval, so as to facilitate the joint action of rolling and scraping of the drill bit on the rock surface and achieve the purpose of rapidly crushing the rock. For hard rock drill bit, high toughness spherical tooth alloy is used, and the teeth are relatively dense. In the drilling process, the rock is mainly broken by rolling, and sliding scraping is reduced as much as possible to reduce the wear of the rock on the alloy, cone bit commonly used alloy teeth.

In the process of drilling, the mining roller bit requires a large propulsion force, so the strength and structural design of the bearing are very high. Large diameter drills generally use roller-ball-roller (RBR) bearing systems: smaller diameter drills use roller-ball-sliding (RBF) bearing systems. The radial force generated by these two bearing systems during drilling is mainly loaded by the large roller bearing, and the small roller or sliding bearing plays an auxiliary role, while the axial force is mainly borne by the plane thrust bearing at the front end. With the deepening of the drilling hole and the wear of the drill bit, the axial force is also transmitted to the thrust bearing and ball bearing at the rear, thus prolonging the service life of the drill bit.
