At the meeting, Wang Ping, chairman of the board of supervisors of the China Mining Federation, pointed out that China is in a new period of development, and it is our common goal to integrate new development concepts and build a new development pattern. The China Mining Federation will do a good job of leading and supporting the work to help resource-based (mining) urban ecological environment completely improve.

Duan Xiang, vice president of China University of Geosciences (Beijing), said in his speech that China University of Geosciences (Beijing) has been actively participating in the construction of national ecological civilization. Under the guidance of the Ministry of natural resources and the China Mining Federation, it has carried out research on the development of mining cities, formed a professional team and achieved a number of results. He believes that the forum will definitely provide new ideas and new directions for the sustainable development and green development of resource-based cities, and provide useful reference for the school's research in resources and environment-related fields.

At the meeting, Lei Ya Lin, vice president of Beijing University of Chemical Technology, analyzed the impact of urban air pollution on public health, and suggested strengthening the prevention and control of air pollution in key areas and controlling the total coal consumption in key cities.
