From November 30 to December 1, the 2020 National Entrepreneur Activity Day and the Annual Meeting of Chinese Entrepreneurs were held in Dongguan, Guangdong Province. At the meeting, the 11th Yuan Baohua Enterprise Management Gold Award was announced. Chen Yumin, secretary of the party committee and chairman of Shandong Gold Group, won the award. This is the first time that a Chinese gold industry company has won the award.
The jury believes that since Chen Yumin joined the work, he has stepped from a grassroots mining technician to a leader position and has made important contributions to the development and growth of my country's gold industry. In recent years, by seizing the strategic opportunity of transformation and upgrading of the gold industry, with rich management experience of mining enterprises and excellent strategic decision-making ability and resource integration ability, he successfully led Shandong gold from following to leading, and became the largest gold production enterprise in China. Especially in recent years, with a series of solid and effective strategic measures, he has promoted the growth of Shandong gold production and operation performance year after year, and the comprehensive development strength has been continuously improved, which has made Shandong gold successfully ranked 10th in the global gold production enterprises, rewriting the history that there are no Chinese enterprises in the top ten of global gold production enterprises.
Chen Yumin said in his acceptance speech that Shandong Gold's achievements are the result of the correct leadership of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government and the strong support of the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. It is the result of the good cooperation of the group's management team and the joint efforts of the majority of employees. He said that as long as the new development concept is conscientiously implemented and new technologies and new means are widely adopted, the gold industry, as a traditional industry, can achieve sustainable development in the new historical development stage. In the future, he will be guided by the spirit of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, unite with the majority of cadres and employees, forge ahead, innovate management, and make a good start for the "14th Five-Year Plan" and work hard to build a world-class enterprise with global competitiveness.
The Yuan Baohua Management Enterprise Management Gold Award is the highest award in the field of Chinese enterprise management practice officially established by the China Enterprise Management Science Foundation in 2005 under the leadership of the China Enterprise Confederation and the China Entrepreneurs Association.
