In order to prevent dust from being generated when the excavator shovels stones, after blasting, the sprinkler in the mining area immediately sprays the blasting pile to suppress dust from the initial link. However, after the material truck transported the stone from the mountain, it was necessary to pour the stone into the production link at the "Longkou". Dust was inevitably generated during the pouring process. Therefore, a spray system was set up above the "Longkou" in the mining area. Subsequently, the stone enters the workshop for primary crushing, and wet operation is adopted in the process of primary crushing to wash the stone.
The first broken stone will enter the intermediate silo, and before that, the discharge port is equipped with dust removal equipment. "Dust will come down after the stone is broken, and special equipment should be used for dust removal." Shu Haofeng said that after coming out of the intermediate silo, the stone was dispersed to two production lines for fine crushing. In this process, wet operation was also adopted, and dust removal was also required before discharging. The whole mine was equipped with 3 sets of dust removal equipment.
In the 1500-meter-long stone conveying link, the gravel processed by the production line is transported by belt conveyor, and the whole process is closed. From the stone pouring into the feeding port to the discharging, the middle will not contact with the outside world, thus avoiding the generation of dust and reducing the noise.
In order to solve the sewage generated in the production process, the mining area invested 6.3 million yuan to purchase a sewage treatment system to centrally treat the sludge-containing wastewater generated by machine-made sand washing. The whole system includes a mud tank, a sewage treatment center, a clean water tank and a mud cake filter press workshop. After the sewage enters the tank, the agent is added through the automatic dosing device to precipitate the mud. The precipitated mud is processed by the pressure filter plate, pressed into mud cake and becomes solid waste, and the separated water can be recycled.
At the same time, the mine has set up a rainwater collection system to save water resources through the collection and utilization of rainwater.

"In the latest optimization, technicians found that compared with 115mm holes, the hole mesh parameters of 90mm holes are more suitable for our mining area and can better control the harmful effects of blasting." Zhou Hai, blasting supervisor of the Production Technology Department, said that for this reason, the mining area did not hesitate to increase the cost input and appropriately reduce the production capacity. "As the blasthole becomes smaller, more holes need to be drilled, the number of blasting cycles increases, the corresponding personnel and drilling rigs also increase, and the use of civil explosives also increases."
In August this year, the mining area invited a third-party testing agency to conduct seismic measurements. The results showed that the blasting vibration speed of the mine was far lower than the specification requirements. "According to the standard of ordinary old houses, the vibration speed of open-air blasting is required to be controlled between 0.45 cm/s and 0.9 cm/s. The actual measurement is below 0.2, most of which are around 0.1."
