Among them, in shallow hole drilling mining, H22mm cone connecting drill rod and a straight, cross or ball tooth drill bit are usually used for holes with a hole diameter below 43mml. For holes with a hole diameter greater than 43mm, R32-H25-R32 x 1000mm light connecting drill rod or R32-D32-R32X 1000mm connecting drill rod shall be used, and cross-type or ball-tooth type rock drilling drill rod shall be used at the same time. In the drilling operation of medium and deep hole drilling, the R32-D32-R32X 1100mm and 1200mm connecting rod drill rods are mainly used, with cross-shaped drill bit and ball tooth drill bit with diameter of 55mm.60mm, T38-D38-T38 mm, 1830mmT45-D45-T45X 1525mm, 1830mm connecting rod and MF rod, and with 64mm and 76mm ball tooth drill bit at the same time. Deep-hole rock drilling is mainly used for stage mining method. The diameter of drilling holes is usually more than 100mm for horizontal deep holes or downward deep holes, and the maximum depth can reach 165m. High wind pressure down-the-hole drilling tools are usually used. At present, most of the underground metal mines in China are used in deep hole drilling, therefore, the rod drilling tool has become the main use of underground mining drilling products. R3212-D32-R3212X 100mm, 1100mm, 1200mm connecting rod drill rods and 55mm, 60mm, 65mm, 70mm diameter ball tooth drill bits are currently the most used drilling tools for deep hole drilling in underground mines. This drilling tool is matched with a guide rail type pneumatic rock drill (mainly YYG90 type) installed on a drill frame or drill truck to carry out rock drilling operations.
