Atlas Copco Hydraulic Rock Drill Model and Use

Atlas Copco currently uses 17 types of hydraulic rock drills, which can be divided into 5 categories according to their uses, as shown in the chart. Among them, COP1132 rock drills can be used for both tunneling and bolt drilling. It can be seen that the COP1238 we used to know well, COP1440, has not been listed in the table.

Classification of hydraulic rock drills by Atlas Copco
 
Atlas Copco's hydraulic rock drills can be divided into the following 5 categories according to their use:
 
(1) Open rock drill;
 
(2) Casing rock drill;
 
(3) Tunneling rock drill;
 
(4) Deep hole rock drill;
 
(5) anchor rock drill.
 
The impact power of Atlas Copco's hydraulic rock drills ranges from 11kW to 40kW, and the drilling diameter ranges from 33mm to 165mm.
